This was a lovely missing scene type story for the mini-series. Just one thing, toward the end, when he is watching Anne when she is picking apples. It is small waist, not waste.

Dude, I never read Anne of Green Gables but I promise i know the jist of the story. (Plus I used to watch that weird little cartoon they had of it for a while, so I remeber Gilbert,too)

Poor Gilbert, scarlet fever is one of the baddies. Very describtive to a point you cna even feel your own temp rising. And the seizure *shivers* spooky.
