TamSibling 2008-04-05 ch 5,	abuseok, it's taken me a few days to respond to this chapter, because gah - you're killing me here! I loved the fact that they were not on the same page and then they were and then Kara goes off and Lee's pining for her, but I really, really want more of this fic. Can't you write a little epilogue ... just a teeny, tiny one? Please?!?!?! But this was a great fic and although it doesn't end necessarily "happily" for our pilots, it's pretty spot on! Thanks for sharing!
tschevy 2008-04-02 ch 5,	abuseFirst of all, I want to say how much I loved this story, though it took a half bottle of wine to get me through the angst, you know I still loved the torture. I'm so glad Kara had Helo and Sharon when she returned. And what can I say about Lee...being...Lee. hee Excellent ending and as it should be. Kara and Lee make me think of an old song that I heard the other day by Pat Benetar 'Love Is A Battlefield'. Thank you for another lovely story. :-)

No resolution either really, which is PRECISELY how it is with these two. They know where they stand on one another at least, which is progress of a sort. That's all we can really hope for with the two of them. Well done. I really didn't know if you could pull this off without resorting to some hammy cliche of a conclusion. Their story doesn't have a happy ending, because nothing ever really ends does it? They'll likely keep wanting and denying until the day they die, and then probably drag it into the hereafter. They wouldn't be Lee and Kara otherwise.

Jaby 2008-03-31 ch 5,	abusewell, well, well... love was really never the problem with those two. i like this story. angsty, but with a glimmer of light on the horizon. despite the hard feelings and bitterness in the first chapters, your last chapter shows that there is still hope and the posibility of a good end.

They're always going to remain locked in orbit, pushing and pulling on the other. As much as I would like a happy outcome for them on the show, this is more the scenario I see becoming canon. Hopefully you're not prophetic :-)! Great job on a great story!

I've thoroughly enjoyed the story, and it's true to RDM and DE's treatment of Apollo and Starbuck. Gods I could throttle Lee, I really could. Why can't he be more decisive?! Thanks again - great story telling as always, you never disappoint.
Artemis90 2008-03-31 ch 5,	abuseYou warned us, but I still can't believe it ended as was. I love the misery there but still feel sorry/frustrated at the pilots' inability to move on either way. I liked how you Lee got to a 'good' place with Elizabeth even enough to approach 'friendship' with Kara but Jealous Lee quickly reappears that SAME NIGHT when he thinks she's with another man. And I also adored how Kara did not correct Lee's assumption of her and 'Will' - good friend would try to let him go and this fits well with what she says to Sam in the extended UB: "I won't change your mind". As promised, no happy fluff. But Argh! to stubborn pilots - its seems they never learn. "Where does this leave us" "Nowhere" but er, actually back to "All this has happened before..." (So I now wasn't sure where to leave comment here or eljay but I did read this here first...)

Uberscribbler 2008-03-29 ch 4,	abuseThis one was downright painful than the previous three combined. How these two are able to even function this screwed up in the head and heart. Its the heart bit I worry about the most. Like it or not, these two have always been lead by theirs with one another; except they tend to do the complete opposite of what their hearts are actually saying. Makes for great soap opera, but lousy relationships. That said, you're doing a great job keeping the tension going; the angst is easy bit. What's more important is how real the reactions these two bounce off one another is. I'm literally tearing my own hair out as I read. That said I do hope there's some kind of positive resolution at the end of this; although at this point, a mutual suicide would count as a 'positive'. That is NOT a suggestion, btw.
