| Dragon of Dispair 2008-04-01 ch 1, | abusei did notice this when it came out. i did. i promise. and i absolutely loved it. i've just been really busy. jazz/prime is one of my secret favorite pairings (not so secret anymore, i guess, though i pretty much like jazz/anyone) and there aren't many fics out there. you would totally and completely win just for that. on top of that, it's a wonderful fic by any definition. the evolution of their relationship as seen through prime's memories was beautiful, and his mourning of jazz's death nearly made me cry. the whole piece has this very gentle feel that i think fits prime very well. not to mention you resurrected jazz without the use of the allspark in any way shape or form. i think i'm addicted to your writing... |
| JessyJazz 2008-03-22 ch 1, | abuseThere are so few fics on Optimus/Jazz pairing that one tends to think it is quite unimaginable. But this fic just blows the unthinkable right to the end of the universe! It's subtle, gentle, very in character of Optimus, if he was to have a 'relationship' with a fellow bot. Certainly not in the physically over-enthusiastic manner Ironhide/Ratchet would engaged in. The ending made me tear. How true for Optimus to find it hard to express his anguish openly while holding the broken pieces of Jazz. He is the great commander afterall, always in control of his emotions while infront of his fellow Bots, let alone, his new friends, the humans. Putting up a facade is never easy, especially when it is obviously tearing you apart from the inside and no one knows except yourself. A beautiful piece of work! |

It has to be one the few stories to bring tears to my eyes. Very well done, and very well written. If there was ever reason to think that Jazz and Optimus were together you most definently wrote it here. A marvelous addition to you collection of stories, and THANK YOU for the happy endding! It was iceing on the cake! |

Not one we see often, but I really loved how you wrote such depth for both of them, and showed us the softer side of Jazz, and the more personal, quiet yet sad side of Prime. And the end was perfect. Wow, you just have magic with your words!! |
