I had to log out to post this review, since I'd already posted one. Christ is this stuff funny! This movie especially, I think - on account of Gollum!Fantine and all the gay/Gay/Gaye. I really really want to know about Gavroche the Cheep, and Javert falling down, and the GEICO caveman!! *iz sad*

Getting the abridged version of this must have been annoying, but for your readers this was really funny! Thanks, I vaguely remember the beginning and the trail scene (and the Woodcutterness) and Fantine from when I watched this in fifth grade. At least I think it was this one. Did they have the Cosette/Marius wedding scene? You brought back many repressed memories from my French class, but thank you so much for the nostalgia.

Okay, I seriously want to see this version now, even though it sounds bad. XD You must finish this, because it's incredibly FUNNY!

In fact, the graveyard scene is in (yay! Kill Bill!), but the SOBs cut it from Loony's dvd. The whole movie is on youtube.

We're waiting for the rest. OMG sewers... Javert in WHITE! pants... and the National Guard too...
First I cried: Javert, you hopeless _, how will you wash that out?
Later: Oh... that way. :(

Monteis Sur Monteis! My favourite place in the world!

This is possibly the best sentence from this summary yet: Javert asks him when he’ll be free to “inspect his men,” whatever that’s supposed to mean, and Valjean tries to tell him he can’t tomorrow, he’ll be washing his hair (which is so bushy that I wouldn't be surprised if that were true), but Javert is really pester-y and annoys him into promising to come.

Wow, this sounds EXTREMELY odd. I keep pausing to make sure I'm actually reading this and not hallucinating. Valjean escaping from a Javert-ful carriage sounds like the funniest thing ever for some reason.

Is Bilbo-Thin-are-dee-eh the actual same actor who played Bilbo, or just a clever replica? Because if it was the actual same actor, that would be... well, extremely odd, but I already said that. Why is the graveyard scene not in any of the films at all? I LOVED THAT BIT!

Anyway, I can't wait for more of this summary, so I'm favouriting it.

Okay, SirFlouncyPants reminds me very, very irresistably of Sir Pouncy Boots, my name for Raoul from Phantom of the Opera (and many other similar people.) I'm now imagining Patrick Wilson attempting to be Valjean and finding it a teeny bit too amusing. Passing over that...

Yay for referencing the Frederic March film. ^_^

If Ominous Shiny Boots married Sir Flouncy Pants (which, given this summary, wouldn't be so unlikely), I'm convinced the offspring would be Sir Pouncy Boots. Or perhaps Disturbed, as his parents would be Valjean and Javert. And it might explain why Raoul is the way he is. (Sorry, I actually love Raoul.)

Your woodcutter tangent rivals Victor Hugo's in its pricelessness. Also, the bit about why Javert added five years to Jean's sentence made me giggle. Jean's flouncy run makes me think of Captain Jack Sparrow. Clochepaille reminds me of Combeferre from the Shoujo Cosette anime... he constantly hits on Enjolras and talks about the moon.

"Hahaha the bishop sounds like Lumière! And André the Giant! Got married! And had an old, old baby!"

Oh... I want this movie... it must be awesome! :D

Is this version where Norman Bates plays Javert, isn't it? I love him. :D I always knew Javert was in love with his convict... poor guy! :( Valjean is so blind and so cold.

And Bilbo!Thénardier and Gollum!Fantine... oh my God... :D

So much for pronounciation... Uh, in Germany, we'd actually pronounce the "s" at the end of Monteis. Not that this was of any importance...
Great as ever, only I haven't got the imagination to think up a funny review...

Good fun as always. Is there any non-scary adaption of Les Mis?

Please update soon.

Man, if you're this pissed at John Gay, I'd hate to see what you will do to Bille August. :D

Gollum Fantine . . . Bilbo Thenardier . . . I smell another parody! J/k. Or am I? 8)

Hm, the only Les Miz adaptation I have seen that has a decent Cosette is . . . yes, you probably know what I'm gonna say. And even in THAT she can get on people's nerves! But she's a much more developed character, which I do like.

To own the truth, aside from the anime, has any other adaptation included the coffin scenario? I don't remember it in the 1957 movie. It WAS 3.5 hours long, though, so there was a lot I could've forgotten.

OMG I WANNA SEE JAVERT FALL DOWN AND GET WRONG DIRECTIONS FROM A CREEPY GAMIN!11!1!1!11!1ELEVEN!!
