I loved this! So very in character - Shin realising he's in love with Kumiko and mentally groaning, yet knowing there's no way out of it, Kumiko realising she's in love with Shin and mentally wailing, yet not even thinking about getting past it. The yakuza playing peanut gallery, and Kuroda calmly spelling out what's so obvious that no one actually sees it.

I'm also really glad you mentioned the first time Shin and Kumiko saw each other, because the electricity and chemistry of that moment - whether manga, anime or dorama, is part of what turned me into a ShinKumi shipper.

I thought the recurring time theme was interesting, and that proposal scene was SO Shin and Yankumi - even down to the fact that their first kiss was right before it! Neither of them are the type to mess around once they understand what they want.

I love people who pair up Shin and Kumiko, so no matter what happens in your story, as long as they're together, you'll have my support! Keep writing!
