I came back to work on Chapter 8 and added a bit more before deciding it was ready to upload, then decided to upload it - when I saw that I'd already uploaded Chapter 8. Well, now it's got a few new hundred words! and I hope to have Chapter 9 finished soon.

It's called Let's Get Avengerous. doesn't allow URLS here, so just go to YouTube and do a search on that title, if you're interested... Hope you're enjoying this story...my plan is that it's going to last for a long time but hopefully you'll keep coming back for each chapter...
BitShifter 2008-03-27 ch 7,	abuseThe thing I like most about this first meeting is the fact that for some time, Emma doesn't know Steed's name; she only knows him as "the false Patrick Staunton." Most of the other first meeting stories have him instantly giving his name and Emma succumbing to his charms. Given the Steed from the 1963-65 era, it seems much more likely she would be introduced to his "sneaky side" first--maybe Steed would even try to "use" her (rather than woo her). I've always felt that the first meeting really should be adversarial rather than cordial, so that we can see sparks flying from day one.
BitShifter 2008-03-25 ch 4,	abuseVery canonically correct, with the horoscope and the fender-bender. You've escalated it nicely with Emma's indentity mistake about Steed. There are some good mysteries going.
