Anyway, like another reviewer I don't normally like OC especially OFC's but since these two aren't with any of the real crew then its not too bad so far. Now if you do like someone else is doing and having your OCs get shot, raped, blown up, tortured, maimed, all the time then I will have to bow out of reading, But hopefully you won't fall into the juvenile Mary Sue pit. |

A lot of readers have a problem with them (I know - have one of my own!) and refuse to even try the tales. But I like this pair, and can't wait to see how they actually get together. Your characterisation is good, especially for a light (so far) piece. But River seems to be missing, more or less, and she would have known about Mal intending - at least at some point - to propose. Perhaps she did, and Mal asked her to keep it quiet? Anyway, I'll look forward to further updates. |
