I really like this story, especially the ending. Saske's last line "You beat me to it." was so good. I thought that it worked much better than just having him say 'I love you too.' I sort of wonder how much Sasuke would really change. If he would sort of have to learn to be human.

Well, for the sake of a writer who wants to know if she's indeed getting better, I will review. Actually, I would have reviewed anyway, so... I digress.

The thing about this story is that Sasuke is changed. It makes it good and bad in several ways. I'll start with the bad (just so we can end on a good note).

Everybody who likes Sasuke has come to like him because he's a cold-hearted badass (pardon my language). It's also because he acts that way that people like to see him and Naruto hook up (terrible term to describe the relationship, but it'll do). After all, who would have ever thought that Naruto would be the one to warm Sasuke's heart? Who would have thought that two rivals as fierce as them would ever be able to make a go of a relationship? It's Sasuke original coldness that makes him so awesome.

But there are good things to what you've done, too. In this story you showed us the side of Sasuke that we never see, but always sort of want a peek at. This is the Sasuke that we want to be able to see without him giving up his indifferent attitude. And that, in turn, makes your fanfiction interesting to read. Also, this is the side of Sasuke that we want Naruto to be able to experience, because he deserves that.

Yet, my stripping Sasuke of his normal attitude, it also takes away some of the amusement that readers usually get when the two of them bicker.

But I also understand that this is your personal rendition, so props to you for making it original and memorable.

Overall, I'd say that this fanfiction was (and is) a success.
