| Hidden Fairy 2008-05-28 ch 1, | abuse“If I said I loved you Temperance, what would you do?” *sighs dreamily* if only they would hurry up and get on with it. Ok i am seriosly LOVING these fics of yours. you are probably sick of me reviewing them all at once, (i should really be writing an essay), but i have just found them and cant stop! They are too GOOD! Your newly devoted fan and reviewer Hidden Fairy ps. thanks for your review on my fic "You were Dead" |
| acceb 2008-05-27 ch 1, | abuseI love this. So sweet and romantic. Thank you. |
| saragillie 2008-05-20 ch 1, | abuseWonderful story. Loved it. I'm not much of a romantic, but I do enjoy poetry, mostly the ones that aren't about romance. I have to admit a weakness for 'My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose' by Robert Burns though. |
| BxBforever 2008-05-19 ch 1, | abuseI agree with you and brennen peotry is over rated Formost are the so called poems that don't rhyme and by reading them you can't discern a pattern. Its IDIOTCY! P.S. I'm sorry, we're reading Beowulf in English 11 and i can't get into it cuz it's written stupidly! P.P.S. Anyhoo, Goddess of fanfiction you astound me with your literary prowess yet again. |
| OutlawsLady 2008-04-21 ch 1, | abuseI don't like sappy poetry, but I'll take one of him to go please... |
| fishyfin1 2008-04-12 ch 1, | abuseo that made me feel all warm and fluffy inside! especially when booth was whispering... you're good - too good! you have amazing plot bunnies and i cant wait for more!! have to say - im in teh middle - a bit of both... some poetry just moves me while others seem pointless:D |
| Lizicia 2008-04-01 ch 1, | abuseI am all pro-romance but common sense and rationality is always needed at times. But you conveyed their emotions very well as I think Brennan could never resist Booth if he told her all those things. *sigh* love is beautiful. P.S. "She Walks In Beauty" is probably my favourite poem. Lord Byron was the greatest (and the most handsome :P) |
| ImSoMMAD 2008-03-31 ch 1, | abuseThis is the one and only review for a Bones fic I will right. I read a lot of them, but I enjoy the anonimity of not reviewing, just enjoying. Anyway, I wanted to tell you this is possibly my favourite Bones fic ever. And I've read quite a few. It was so gorgeous, and so totally beautifully written, and the confession was perfect. So original, and very very Bones/Booth-ish. I cannot tell you how much I loved it. The diaolgue suited them both, and although I'm somewhere between the two on the subject of poetry (I can't stand Shakespeare poetry, but some of the more modern I can stomach) I did enjoy the argument. Thank you so much for a wonderful fic, and please write again soon! xxStellaxx |
| mumrulz 2008-03-27 ch 1, | abuseI too am not a great fan of poetry, although I am a romantic at heart, but I do like to hear words of love, simple & straight to the point, no misunderstandings, not in some flowery round about way that you are not to sure of the meaning of. LOL. But then again I haven't had Booth recite me any poetry! :-) I liked the way that Booth is determined to look after Brennan, to make her happy, even if it is only to get her to walk in the sunshine & fresh air. **“You know, your obvious romanticism does nothing to strengthen your argument that you don’t have a well developed feminine side. You really are very sentimental Booth.” “I was only stating that for effect, the young couples in love are all part and parcel of the ‘first beautiful day of the year’ experience,” he argued. “Face it Booth, you’re soft,” said Bones matter-of-factly, poking him in the side. “I resent that,” he protested indignantly, puffing out his chest, “I am very hard.” “No….I mean….I’m. “I’m not soft, I’m a tough FBI Agent,” he finished hastily.. ...LMAO...Booth seems to have something on his mind he wants to bring up with Brennan, but it's not really going in his favour at the moment. :-) **“It’s all sentiment, feeling; it’s sappy. It goes on and on about love and beauty ...it's obvious why brennan doesn't like poetry. LOL. Loved the reference to 'fluff'. I love 'fluff'. ;-) Loved the way that Booth declared his feelings for her through '3rd person', & even Brennan was aware that he was talking about the 2 of them. Loved every word he spoke to her. Loved the whole d*mn thing. :-):-):-) |
| TVObsessee 2008-03-26 ch 1, | abuseloved the story, even though I'm a huge fan of poetry. I think you're just getting involved with the wrong poetry. the good stuff... go to a SLAM, that's where all the good stuff is... it makes you want to take a stand and believe in something. I'll send you YouTubes... very lovely, again... especially since I just got back from some wonderful Tennessee, it actually sort-of felt like Easter, weather. |
| iamwriter 2008-03-26 ch 1, | abuseGot go with you and Bones on the poetry thing, although having someone like Booth whisper it in my ear, could and probably would change my mind! Good story. |
| AirborneGirl 2008-03-26 ch 1, anon. | abuseBelieve me, I'm with you. I'm not a romantic sap and (luckily for me)vneither was my late boyfriend. We found other ways to show each other our care. Though Booth's confession was very well written! |
| cinderella2122 2008-03-26 ch 1, | abuseI kinda go both ways, I can see the romatasims in poetry but how many of these poets actually feel what they wrote, i mean how many fantasy or horror authors go through what they wright? So i can see where both are coming from. Good story! JJ:P |
| coolchick207 2008-03-26 ch 1, | abuseHm... I don't know. I write poetry, but I'm not a big fan of the overly romanticised rhymes that you normally think of when you think of poems. Yet, the day my boyfriend came outside when I was standing on a mates balcony on New Years, wrapped his arms around my waist and whispered: "You let my spirit shine to the world, and released me from the dark that had held me so long. You told me it was alright to be different, in a world where different is wrong. And you make me believe that I am more than I ever thought I could be. You make me reach for that rainbow. And you give me the strength to stretch just that little bit further, when all my strength is gone"... how do you hate poetry after that? What I do like, though, is your story. Lol. Very well done! -CJ |
