2007-01-05 . chapter 1
Although in the end of Ghost Legion, by Margaret Weis--the follow up book to Star of the Guardians--Sagen the Priest dies valiantly saving the life of Dion, his King, I was very happy to read this alternative ending. With the medical discoveries made by Derek and Maigrey there now exist times of lucidness and normality for her. Any addtional medical help requested would be sent by His Majesty, with complete discretion and privacy for them on the planet that is now their home. I'm sure any medical laboratory and residential quarters for the personel would be placed at a distance and out of sight of Derek's and Maigrey's residential area.

I can forsee them in time attempting a future trip to the Capital at the request of Dion, Aks and Dixter. A GPS (Galactic Positioning Device, as in 20-21st Century Global Positioning Device)would provide for Maigrey's safety if she were to lose control and somehow leave the area. Implants under her skin, linked to computer monitoring units carried on her person in non-tearible fabric, could immediatly adjust her body's chemical state if she was starting to lose proper balance and control.

I think there is more that enough material for a Chapter 2 and a Chapter 3. Perhaps, an Alternative Universe to Weis's Ghost Legion is very much in Order. Perhaps in the New Order a medically well-maintaining Lady Maigrey, and Lord Derek Sagen might take their places of Service on the Imperial Council under His Majesty Dion Starfire.

Freak-worthy, yet satisfying. You're so talented at that. Heh. I think Sagan should have let Dixter get a good long look though....perferably long enough for Maigy to rip him limb from limb.
