Wow! This was an incredibly emotionally charged chapter. I love the entire Quatre and Trowa scene. Trowa defending Quatre from an enraged (and drunk) Duo was terrific. I loved how he was entirely calm but deadly serious when he told Duo to back off. I also loved Quatre being his empathatic self, yet holding firm to his values that what he picked up from Heero stays between him and Heero. Quatre has a very strong sense of honor and we got to see this highlighted.

I LOVED how Heero regressed slightly into his chibi-self and started begging not to leave and that he would be a good boy. Very heartwrenching and shows how fragile Heero's mind is. Only Quatre knows at this point that the fragility of Heero's body is a reflection of how fragile and vulnerable his mind is at this point. He's driving himself to the edge. We'll have to hope that Duo will have listened and remembered what Heero said when he regressed. The fact that he was promising to "be a good boy" and his tone of voice should be a HUGE clue that something traumatic happened to him as a child.

Great job! Please update soon! I hope that Heero and Duo finally start talking a little in the next chapter. It will take all the love and support of the boys to get Heero to start to realize that love isn't necessarily a hurtful thing and that it can heal as well as wound.

All I can say is "Wow!". That's what true friendship is about. Wufei was a true friend to both Heero and Duo. And Quatre is proving that he is a true friend of Heero's as well. As intrusive as his actions were, Quatre did what he had to in order to save Heero from himself. I hope you update soon!

I can't wait to see what Duo does when he finds out from Quatre how Heero equates love with pain/abuse, and when he sees that Heero is starving himself. And what will Wufei say when he hears this as well? And Heero needs to hear why Duo so desperately needs to hear that he is loved. Oh, the sadness!

Yep, i like it. I think it's great! Please continue quickly! I liked how Quatre was able to find out exactly why Heero couldn't say the words. It's a very good, and yet sad, story.
