Wow. I got to the end, and I suddenly realized that I'd been holding my breath the entire time I was reading. Usually I only do that if the character is underwater, and that's only for movies. This, however... It was beautiful. Absolutely lovely. Thank you for writing this. And thank you, Karen, for typing it out so I could read it... I have found yet another favorite!

By the way, is this just a oneshot, or will you go further with it?
