I don't think either party, as in the alchemists and the exorcists (hehe, I like the ring of that), would be so quick to explain everything. I've only read the first book of D. Grey Man, but that doesn't sound like something you'd tell just anyone about. Even if someone witnessed it. More like you'd tell them they hallucinated.

As for the Elrics, same thing. You don't just tell someone you're an alchemist. Ed has been on our side of the Gate long enough to realize people are going to consider you a nutcase.

Also, how did Ed and Al figure they weren't in the same world that quickly, as opposed to not just a different part of Earth? O.o; It was the same time period too, I believe...
