I love that story! I wish that they never stop the show and make her look older in new show. You know? I never forget bout Rainbow Brite. Hey it make me want to draw her as older. *smiles* I can do that for you! *hugs*

Nicely written origin story!

Some of the dialog needs improving; much more could be said between Wisp and her teacher, the boy she saved from the bully,
and her and her parents.

Keep writing!

I alway's thought that Wisp may have come from Spectra and that for some reason, her memory was erased or she just never indicated she was from there in the movie. Plus, it would have been funny to think that she and Krys might have been friends once and her being sent to save the Colorless World (Rainbow Land) instead of him made him angry and made him rather picky about what girls can or can't do at the beginning of the movie.

Absolutely amazing. Ive only just Re-discovered Rainbow Brite, and the story seems to fit in so well.

Good start!

Wisp's origins never were explored, and this is a good idea.

Actually, the Sphere of Light that brought Wisp to Rainbowland was never named. A fanfiction writer named Onyxmoon used Lady Brite in her story, and I used it in the War of Darkness Trilogy.

You have her at five years old here, and the only evidence supporting that age is in the book "Happy Birthday, Buddy Blue". His cake had seven candles.

However, in "Beginning of Rainbowland", Starlite said that so much time had passed since the King of Shadows arrived that event was just legend. The Kids had been prisoners all that time, so they are much older than they appear.

I'll be interested in seeing how this turns out.

Looking forward to more!
