I admire your writing skills and your ability to capture one's feelings or emotions in words.
The story line is interesting but its depressing.
I cried after reading this story.
You ought to write a sequel, but pls giv a happy ending! =)

Aw...this was super depressing...:( I'm a happy ending story kind of person so this is way out of what I usually read...however I like the way you write and decided to go for it. As unfortunate as the ending is this story is powerful. You capture the heartbreak and despair everyone's going through well. Though I think you leave it open enough that I can pretend it all turns out in the end which I'm going to do. Excellent piece!

Wow. Messed up and well-executed, with good characterization and a good helping of well-deserved angst. I typically don't like stories with such an abysmal lack of any chance at a happy ending, but I have to respect the skill that went into this. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Happyhedgehog! I totally would love to see more of this. *GRIN* I feel so bad for Prowl, who doesn't even know what's going on, and even worse for Jazz, who gets to see his Bondmate turn into THAT. If we're obnoxious enough, can expect more of this? 8D

Terribly interesting yet so sad! I could totally see Jazz trying to save Prowl, even from himself and even at the cost of his own injury. Gah, I knew this wasn't going to end well, but you had me sucked into the story for the whole ride. Very unique - I've seen the Prowl/Cade idea around before, but your spin stands all alone.

Wow, this was fantastic. Darkly depressing and gruesome, yet so tragic as well.

I've seen the whole Prowl becoming Barricade scenario--I'm sure most people have at this point. But I loved this angle. Trapped within his own programming/mind and body, suffering continually as poor Prowl is imprisoned by the intrusion that is Barricade. And of course, one of the other reasons I probably love it is beacuse of Jazz and Prowl's relationship. Jazz's dedication to his bondmate is achingly sweet, and I just want to give them both a much-needed hug.

At first I was a little put-off by Ironhide's hostile behavior toward Prowl. I wasn't sure he would act that way toward a long-time, loyal member of the Autobot faction. But after reading through a bit more and thinking about it, I'd say it is a possibility. After all, Ironhide's trying to think about what's best for everyone's safety and Prowl, as Barricade, has caused the suffering of many mechs. So glad you decided to show us the two spectrums--Ironhide's wariness and anger, as well as Jazz's desperation and hope for saving his bondmate.

So, to say the least, I'm glad you decided to post this wonderful fic!

Truly haunting. I’ve only seen one other story in which Prowl was actually Barricade … and that one had a rather depressing ending as well. Yet, you know what, I think that’s a perfect ending because if Prowl did ever get free, Jazz would be dead (the movie). So it’s a perfect ending. Angst, but oh so wonderful.

Don't u just love happy endings. Well written and engaging but I hope one day we can save Prowl cause that would suck if he was stuck in a dank, dark corner of his mind for the rest of eternity lol.
