 q.thews 2009-11-13 . chapter 1Great, i just love L-space and the Librarian.
Maybe the librarian could teach his new assistant how to navigate the L-space so he could go back ;-) |
The Wakka Man 2009-05-21 . chapter 1Brilliant. Especially the footnotes. Terry Pratchett would be proud! |
Clodia 2009-05-16 . chapter 1Also lovely. I particularly like the footnotes about Ponder Stibbons. Thanks! |
Aramis-chan 2008-04-14 . chapter 1I liked this! It's surprising people don't show up in the library of the UU more often... (I never use bookmarks; most of the time, I just close the book and have to look for where I left it again. Folding is indeed evil and painful, though I've done that too^^).
My favourite part were the footnotes about Ponder Stibbons (and the whole thing about the plaque, actually). |
Virtuella 2008-04-04 . chapter 1Aw, that is just so sweet! |
eruthiel 2008-03-31 . chapter 1Aww. I really liked this; actually the whole L-space thing is fascinating so any fics about it immediately score points for subject. Bonus points for the Librarian, the bookmarks thing, and especially that little plaque. :) Very good. Wish I´d thought of it. |
Estelle Tiniwiel 2008-03-30 . chapter 1This is such a beautiful story! I love it! (Although I have to shamefully admit that I am a page-folder: all I ever seem to be able to do with bookmarks is lose them, and I often read several books at once so I can't remember all the page numbers. In my defence, though, I only ever do this with my own books, not other people's, and it's a bad habit I've picked up from my father, so let's load the blame on him :D ) Thought the interaction between the Librarian and his new assistant was somehow really touching - and the Librarian must really have taken to him if he warned him about the M word before he actually went and said it! Lovely piece and a good exploration of a Discworld concept.

reaperofthewinds 2008-03-30 . chapter 1Ah! What a lovely little story. You write them so very well. I must confess I do not indulge in a lot of fan fiction but I find yours is worth reading. The grammar, spelling and punctuation is all impeccable, to rival even published works [I have found 8 errors at least in Making Money, I just have an eye for them, I do not go seeking them, they rather find me. (Future job as a proofreader, perhaps?)]
As always I await more of your fascinating Discworld work. |
