Also you keep it clean, with out a mess and an impecable use of words. And even the way vicious act at the donkey show was very funny. It made me laugh. Keep going with this work, don't let it drop!

I never thought about the fact that he could have met Vicious before his Syndicate days... I can't wait to read more. I hope there's a part in the story about how Spike gets his signature blue suit/yellow shirt combo :) Thanks for a great story! ~Ela

And even though I must say the donkey show and poetry were phenomenal (whoever came up with that should win lots of monies), I totally loved the rest of it too. But I can say, after reading about them on Wikipedia, that they were retellings of the original story with some major and minor differences. Meaning they're speculative. Alterna-canon. Just for fun. So is this fic.

Devi Lethe 2008-04-20 ch 6,	abuseJust to address the author's note it did feel a little rough in a few places, specifically the transition between the bar and the fight, but I think that's less to do with the writing and more to do with the visual nature of a transition like that. When I just read the words, it seemed a little set up that Spike would be in just the right place to find Vicious in an altercation, but when I picture in my head the seedy bar, the dark streets, alleys in every direction, and then faint noises from a distance, it all works. If anything, that particular bit just needs a little more flesh. I'm certainly enjoying the reading, and I look forward to the next update.
