that was intense and although I can see Alex being really overprotective and going off to find Trey and likely murder him or put him in a coma, part of me would like to think she would stay in the house with Marissa and comfort her. I liked how Marissa was trying o escape from inside her head. very sad and heavy. as a side note I liked that you included Buffy in another fanfic of yours.

I've had Imogen Heap running through my head all day, so when I read the title that song was the first thing to come to mind. I always thought that if Alex found about what Trey tried to do she would probably beat the sh!t out of him. Now, I'm kinda a sucker for happy endings so I always figured she'd get revenge on him for Marissa and then Marissa and Alex could get back together, but I after reading this I really like ending you gave. I love the way you wrote this and the way the thoughts and actions reflected the lyrics from the song.
