| Susicar 2008-06-26 ch 9, | abuseYou always filled me with so beautiful literary-music... *sigh* Very well done!! |
| Susicar 2008-06-25 ch 8, | abuseLOVELY! |
| KCS 2008-06-25 ch 9, | abuseOh, I like that one and its implications very much - my favourite one so far. |
| KaizokuShojo 2008-06-24 ch 9, | abuseMy dear, these are absolutely marvelous. I love them, really. :) |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 9, | abuseAnother person who can't sleep... :D I like how he wakes up when the violin stops; it shows what the music really does for him. And how Watson forgets his anger when he sees how bad off his friend is. Nice moment. |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 8, | abuseBeautiful... Now if Holmes could only learn to apply that to his own life. You have touched the heart of Holmes's problem right here in a delicate way, and you did wonderful at conveying that through Watson. |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 7, | abuse*admits she had to go look up the definition of bailiwick* But now I've learned a new word! Really, I don't know what to say that I haven't already said, because you've done another remarkable job. I thought the "Devil's Laughter" title added a nice bit of irony/humor to it. That was nice. Interesting little sidenote: you mentioned that the cocaine was on the mantlepiece, but in an earlier prompt, you talked about it being in the drawer. |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 6, | abusePoor Watson. That would be so embarrassing! But I could imagine Holmes doing something of the sort. The phrase "If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself" comes to mind. At least now Watson gets to hear more of Holmes's incredible talent for playing the violin. |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 5, | abuseWatson was good until he said that last bit... Should've kept his mouth shut. lol. Another nice composition! |
| KaizokuShojo 2008-06-24 ch 8, | abuseVery perfect~ Nice job. X3 |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 4, | abuse*claps loudly* This is by far my favorite one yet. You did a wonderful job, not only describing his mood through the changing of the music but also using his surroundings to convey it. Beautiful. And I also deduce that you are quite a Granada fan... |
| Westron Wynde 2008-06-24 ch 8, | abuseGood to see you writing again - you've been too long absent :) "The essence of music is not its machinations. It is the way we give of ourselves when we play." Yes, absolutely. I couldn't agree more. There's this curious juxaposition between Holmes the cold, logical brain and then the passion of the musician - anyone can play, but you have to give of yourself to achieve a level beyond the ordinary. Difficult for Holmes, I should imagine, but he does understand. A rare emotional outlet for someone who keeps his emotions severely in check. Excellent! |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 3, | abuseRomantic drivel... lol. Holmes can't stand the stuff, and Watson is glued to it! I really don't want to be around when Mrs. Hudson finds about about the broken cup... Another really nice scene. |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 2, | abuseCute as can be! I could see such an argument arousing. lol. I do not agree with Holmes's views about women composers! *glares* But we'll forgive him. Good ol' Watson always sticking up for the women. Nice work. |
| shadows-light91 2008-06-24 ch 1, | abuseAs promised... :) This is very nice and reveals a cute moment between the two of them. I loved the fact that Watson deduced something about Holmes that he himself hadn't even realized. Good job! |
