But I desprately needed a distraction today and I got the notice for 'Once' which, of course then I had to read it's prequel. And I am again reminded why you're such a wonderful author - one of the best on here, I think. Thanks for a wonderfully caring story, and I love that it's in the context of marriage. You've conveyed the feelings of carrying on, need, love, loss, frustration - all beautifully and with reverence. Nicely done. Thank you.

ishandtwofourths 2008-04-01 ch 1,	abuseyay, new fic! and a posting right before i have to go to classes for the day... what a nice thing to wake up to. now, let's see if i can set a record for speed-reviewing and churn something out before i have to leave, eh? ;) so. as usual, lovely stuff... well, lovely in a sad way though. poor mad-eye. i really did like him - his death prompted the first of many tears when i read DH. at least, i think they did - it's sorta hard to remember now, and frankly, i haven't touched the book since, lol. but i greatly enjoyed reading fics about a tonks/moody mentorish relationship even before we learned she actually WAS his protegee, so naturally her reaction to his death would be essential, and you captured it really well here. i think tonks would think that moody would want her to stay strong and constantly vigiliant, so that soldiering on she does really seems spot on. but of course, a bit of comfort is a necessity as well. it was indeed a night full of close shaves for remus and tonks, so who could begrudge them a little comfort? a little showery comfort! ooh la la. fans herself i really can't wait to see where this goes... here's hoping for more soon! :)
