Aww! I utterly love this - my realistic AND romantic sides get to be indulged! And I can see Jonathan falling in love and settling down with the right woman one day, so it's perfectly believable to me. We'll not discuss the travesty that was Mummy 3, ok? I only watch it to ogle Brendan.

I loved the *husband like Rick* joke early on, I giggled myself silly at it for some reason and Jonathan's second proposal, the Real Proposal was just beautiful. The whole haircut thing was hysterical too - I could just see Rick stomping about like an overgrown child who's had a toy taken away from him!

The only teeny, tiny thing I thought was missing was that Margaret ought to have written back to Ardeth to let him off the hook too, as it were, although I appreciate his return address might have been difficult to locate!

*wails* Ah, love. A growing ache in my heart makes me wish I had someone like Jonathan. Sweet and clever, yet very unorthodox. Stop me now, I'm drifting into that haze Margaret was describing...

What can I say? I'm a sucker for romantic fluff. Good romantic fluff, of course. Very well written, very touching and funny. :)

Love it, love it, love it. I adore Jonathan, and it was wonderful to see him "get the girl" without losing any of the characteristics that make him such a unique and fun character. Meg was wonderful too. Thanks for sharing.

My goodness, I really think this is one of my favorite stories EVER! I must admit I'd thought Meg slightly boring until I decided to finally read this one. Now I adore her! ok, ok... ummmm... well, I finally decide to read even THIS one. You know I love your stuff, but the idea of Margaret "betraying" my beloved Ardeth, that was just too much for my delicate feelings. LOL. I could not imagine Jonathan being with Margaret, although I tried, honest. It took me pretty long to decide I just have to know, what is it about. And very unvillingly I must say...it was great! :-))) Really, you again did it great. Perfect. The part with Ardeth getting married made me little bit nervous (HES ONLY MINE! lol) but finally I could digest even this part of the story ;-) And even if I had untill the last lines of the last chapter hoped for Ardeth returning for Margaret (naive, am I not?),I have to admit the story is really perfect, beautifully written. Exactly your style. Loved it a lot.

Okay, up there with the best fanfiction ever! Have to admit, I've always been a closet Jonathan fan, but I think that your reality ending is so much more romantic and convincing. It's not just random attraction, but love based on a shared past and the fact that Jonathan is a sexy, sexy beast. And I invariably hate wedding fics! This was so amazing! If you write more, I give you a cookie!

Absolutely LOVED this story. I really hope you'll write another to go with it. I can only imagine what would happen if Ardeth had to come back to them for some reason or another and how he would react to their being married. How about it? Have you another adventure somewhere up your sleeve?

Okay - this is right up there with my favorite Mummy fic of all time. I love Meg, and I love Meg and Jonathan together. I've enjoyed the "Ardeth Gets A Girl" fic, but personally always thought that Jonathan deserved a bit more happiness than he usually got in the fanfiction world. But now he has the girl, and I'm quite proud of the way he handled himself in Alexandria...and I think you may have inspired me to give a Jonathan fic a try. You're totally on my favorites list now.
