Sigh. I honestly don't know what else to say! Amazing! You did a great job portraying the thoughts of Giselle during the "fake ball". Good job. I know I sound like a first grader writing a review (following the teacher's rubric) here, but: I liked how you used her fairy tale lands as a comparison to her current experiences.

Wow. This is so evocative--you really hit on all the emotions she was feeling during that dance. I particularly liked your description of her feelings when he started singing to her. In that dance, he did two of her "how does she know you love her?" things--he danced with her, just so he could hold her close; and he sang to her.

First of all, I love the line you used for the title. That moment is where my eyes begin to tear when I watch the film. Lovely writing, once again, and I really like how you structured the story, with the "And they..." at the beginning of each paragraph. I like how you play with the notion that she's not had a REAL dance before, too. Beautiful job.

OMGosh!! That was so beautiful!! I loved wordplay as well, but this one... well, let's just say the scene is the best BATB symbolism EVER and your description of it basically brought me to tears. I wish I could write THAT well!! wow!! My mother is now staring at me like I am crazy. So I should end this. EXCELLENT JOB! 10 stars of 5!!

I love "So Close." While I was watching that scene, that part where Robert sang to her almost made me cry.

Such a sad though beautifully emotional story. I could just feel Giselle's emotions through this story. Good job.
