abusePlease please continue! I really want to see how Anaire's parents react when they find out, and how Nolofinwe's sisters take the news!

abuseWow, this story is so beautiful! Of course it's so fluffy that I'm getting a migraine, but that's what being a girl is all about! I love it, and there's going to be another chapter, right?

abuseI'm really enjoying this story.

Anaire isn't often written about, or even included, in stories so this one was a treat. The way she is portrayed is perfect. I've always thought of her as the daughter of a noble, but you have done very well the way you have it. This story has made it easier for me to think that she could've been a commoner too and not just some noblemen's duaghter.

Nolofinwe, in this story, is perfect. You've made him someone other than a person who is always jealous of Feanor. I really enjoyed, though, his interactions with his brothers: Feanor and Arafinwe. I can just imagine Feanor's expression when Nolofinwe smiled at him. *grins*

Will this story continue to the wedding and the married life of Nolofinwe and Anaire or not? I hope so because this is a very good story and all.

Thanks for writing and please update soon!

abuseAgain, a beautiful chapter, which shows both sides of each person.

What is Anaire's mother name? I got the queen, but not the first bit.

>>there is noone I would
this should no-one, rather than the way you spelt it.

abuseThey truly are from such different worlds. I am enjoying the telling of each scene from each perspective. You are doing a wonderful job of telling this tale. Looking forward to more!

abuseVery intersting and well written.

I really enjoyed the way Nolofinwe has meeting lists, I found them very amusing because I also saw Nolofinwe doing things like that!

King Ingwë, my grandfather,
hum... that is different... Indis was 'close kin' and was mentioed as either the niece or sister if Ingwe... I always went along the sister route because I belive elves should marry with in their generation, or they normally did... I found a couple who didn't (off the top of my head); Nimloth and Dior and Celebrian and Elrond... Right I will stop rambling now.

Father should have no objections.
ah ha! Why would he have any objections?

abuseOh fantastic, an update! (Seriously, you can't update this story often enough to satisfy me, but I'll take what I can get. *g*)

I like that the overall connecting thread in this chapter is sibling relationships; with Fingolfin and Finarfin on one side, and Anaire and her sister on the other.

A lot of great lines in Nolo's conversation with Aro in particular; "I always thought that that was about fancying someone and trying to work out whether it was anything serious or not." made me stop for a while because it has hints of hip modernism and yet also an Austenesque tone, which is brilliant.

Some of the best fanfiction stories, IMO, are those that getting me thinking about/re-visiting my own visions of the characters, and this story has certainly got me doing that. Well done, guys, and please continue writing & sharing this story with us!

abuseAnd so our protagonists meet - yay! Yes, I liked how the circumstnaces of their meeting played out, in the market. And Fingolfin thinking the statue was an image of Finwe - hee! Can't wait to see how Anaire's meeting with Nolo's family goes. I see you guys have got a title now as well, nice! By the way, how long do you anticipate this story will be? (Very, I hope. *g*)

abusePretty good so far, I wonder how enjoyable those Noldorian balls where to those involved? Nolofinwe seems a little jealous of his elder brother here, but I suppose he grows out of it. I can't quite remember what happens to his wife, I think she stays in Valinor. But keep it up and I'll look forward to more!

abuseThe only thing I don't get is that if she can feel his fea, then she must be his one and only soulmate, right? Then why for all practical purposes, want of an exciting storyline aside, can't she just go up to him and introduce herself? He should automaticlly recognize her, right?

abuseI am really lapping up these chapter - I hope you guys continue updating as quickly as you have been! :D (If not, I shall have to bribe you, or something... ;))

I am contuing to enjoy this story very much; it's always nice to see a bit of pro-Fingolfin fiction around here! (Feanor... pah! ;)) I suppose having tinkered with the idea of a 'second generation' (Maedhros et al. being the third generation in my mind) story myself, I've got a great interest in the parental-characters like Fingolfin, Finarfin and their (future) spouses and famiyl and friends when they were younger - I think you guys have done a great job in exploring life in Tirion, amongst the Noldor. I particularly like the idea of Anaire's three statues, and the descriptions were rather evocative. Wonderful, wonderful stuff - I like how the healing dynamic is working out, also, you'd think something like that might be silly or overdone, but I don't feel that at all in this story.

abusePoor Nolo! I hope he holds it together to go the market on his own.

I really like Anaire and her role as healer and the way she sees herself in that roll and tries to help him even though he doesn't know who she is.

It's interesting that you have Indis as Ingwe's daughter. I've seen mention of her as Ingwe's sister and as his generic "close kin". What made you decide on daughter? It does make Nolo's point on baseness more valid with Indis's children being of doubly royal blood.

Looking forward to more!

abuseI side with Nolo in this one. Finwe has the ability to settle all of the problems between Feanor and Nolo and he chooses not to. Poor Nolo! I'd say hurry up and get him together with Anaire, but I'm enjoying this tale so you can draw it out and make it nice and long if you like.
