Got here by way of a FictionAlley niffle. I'm so glad I gave this a shot, even though Dudley's being a main character is far from my idea of a favorite fic. :)

I love how everything's told perfectly matter-of-factly, how the lack of fuss makes the vivid imagery stand out in all its dark glory.

Your fic reminds me of another Niffle find, dreamfall's Catechism. You should read it if you haven't already; let's just say that dreamfall takes the what-is-all-this-abuse-doing-to-Harry idea (which you voiced out) to the extreme. It's one of my favorite abused!Harry fics, as is this one now. :)

This was just... amazing. Everything I wanted but didn't know. I had Harry!Abuse in it, which I adore, and other such goodies without it being OTT or unbelievable. It was fantastic. I'd love more from this verse. God. I love reading work by talented authors, it makes me all happy and tingly. I'm sorry that you're not getting an epic review, as that is what you deserve, but it's 6am and I am knackered.
