well, it worked! I have very shallow tears and at the very end, my eyes did let the tears to flow. And it actually hurt to read it, physically. I felt my heart tear and really, really wish now that I will never have to feel it on my own. OUCH! Never let it be said that regrets have anything to do with precaution. You write really well! This is so sad. Poor Severus. My cousin was killed in a car accident in 2002. Since that horrific day, I try to always tell people I love them when we are parting ways - because, as this fic demonstrates, there might not be another chance to say such sentiment.
