a truly great story, dramatic, romantic, funny (insert each positive adjective you know)...i only missed the talk where jack tries to tell lureen that her new guy isn´t exactly marrying-material either XD the poor girl just has no luck with her men LOLOL

Just read throught this story again and remembered how much I loved it! Just makes me hum to think of the two of them having this happy life!

I adored reading about how they set up their lives. Characterization was pinpoint, and frankly, I loved everything about this story. :D

That last sentence "their hearts were happy" sure made my heart goddamn happy. That was a really good story. It was different to any others I've read and at first I thought they were a bit too far away from their original characters for me to get into it. Of course after a couple of chapters, when they were happy and together, couldn't stop reading. Jack and Ennis were happy, who am I to complain!

Epilogues were so sweet, brought tears to my eyes! Thanks.

I absolutely loved this story. I'm just really sad that it couldn't end this happy in the movie or the short story. Everyone deserves to be happy no matter who they love. Thanks for the perfect ending I always dreamed about.

LOL, I'm so happy that K.E. took "the talk" so well - even happier that Ennis was able to get the words out. (grin).

Glad to see Ennis stand up to OMT - but I also liked the fact that he knew Jack couldn't because of the family thing.

I'm a little confused here- Lureen does have PO number and city that Jack lives in - so is she just trying to protect him and Bobby or herself? It almost sounds as if they're talking about a "dead" Jack.

LOL, I see Bobby isn't above using a little of that 'Twist' charm.

Oops, guess I got ahead of myself - LOL - if I'd read the rest I'd know that Lureen knew and just wasn't telling Bobby. (grin)
