Hahah...you named the recycled Light 'Sunshine?' Oh, you! Makes sense, though, since he went down repeating that he was 'light.' Huh...that shingami were the humans who had used death notes in life was the obvious answer throughout the series...Ryuk sort of shot it down in the last volume, but that doesn't mean much since he's totally untrustworthy and wouldn't want to believe a thing like that about himself. And besides, how would he know?

Good closing again. Possibly so much of Light's final tantrum in such a short piece was structurally unwise, since it's a repetitive element with a dominant position, but hey. It's a drabble.

Wow. That is possibly the best drabble I have ever read. It would be fun to expand on this idea, but that is the magical thing about 'em; they are supposed to end in a way so that they make you think. Excellent. =]
