This story was so heart-tugging, you feel bad for Will, but at the same time, you can't help but feel terrible for Lin. ;_; Keeping such a stoic attitude, despite the tormenting pain...I think this is excellent insight into her mindset as they were escaping Waylon's troops. Very moving (er, no pun intended). And sad, of course...sniff I thoroughly enjoyed this fic.
