Fantastic story, instant favorite. An entirely plausible situation. I both like and dislike the ending... I like it because it makes sense and it's a good and Dexter-like ending. I don't like it because I would have liked to see what happened next. Plus, if Dexter encountered grief, without prior experience, he may be rendered catatonic. You never know.
LOVE. IT. You can trust me to reread it many times in the future.

Wow, that was fantastic. You really have the voice of the character down pat, without sounding cheesy at all. It just oozes Dexter. And that's hard enough. But then Deb... you got her all right, too. And this story is brilliant because it does play out in the only logical way it could. Which is devastating. But really makes you wonder where the show is going to wind up, because this really does seem like the only place it can. Tragic. Amazing writing.

Wow! Absolutely amazing story... Sad, of course, but, even though I didn't see the ending coming, it had a sort of inevitable feeling to it. I also think you did a really good job of staying true to the characters--I could see Deb reacting in that way if she was put in that position and pushed far enough.

The only thing I didn't like was his decision to leave Miama... but it would make sense.

(But the writing and the whole idea is amazing, and I love the way you portrayed Dexter's almost-existent emotions and the fight that went on between them and the death of Angler too. This fanfic was amzing! But I still can't let Debra die *sniff*.)
