Hmm, interesting. I liked it! those are some good reasons why he blew up the flume. I can't help but think that one or all of these reasons might be true. food for thought.

just wanted to say that this is really deep. it explains why, in an abstract way, he did shut off the flume to ibara. I was reading this and I was thinking that maybe, maybe this is what caused bobby to do it. so he could be free of the burden of taking care of everyday decisions and everybodys problems. thanks you for making me think.

Why has no one reviewed this fic? It's excellent. I was so mad at Bobby when he made the flume collapse. I seriously considered throwing my book across the room when he did that. It seemed like such a stupid decision. And, though I still think it was a stupid decision, your fic really explained what the poor kid must have been going through. I liked how you structured this too -- the second person perspective, and the little numbered sections all really added to the concise but bitter tone. Nice job. =]
