Sohalia Talitha 2009-11-25 . chapter 9Hi - I just thought I'd drop you a review to let you know how wonderful I think this story is. Every one of your characters sparkles. EVERYTHING sparkles. I like your softer take on Light, and I like the way it makes sense as well – he’s had a whole lifetime to mull over his mistakes after all. I especially like the way you portray him as both an adult and a child at the same time, and sometimes I like to think I can see a little bit of the child he’s meant to be spilling over into his actions.
I also love the concept – In my opinion, it’s very hard to write fics with this kind of time travel involved – the main character tends to end up with such an advantage the story loses interest. But wonderfully, you counter Light’s advantage with all the negative sides to going back a lot of people miss – the unhappy family life, the general wariness everyone treats him with, and the instant suspicion he falls under for being too clever. And by forcing light to act in a less antagonistic way you change the playing field completely, while leaving space for all the little in jokes and references that makes time travel type fics so entertaining.
I could go on forever really, so I’ll stop now! But thank you so much for writing this.

Sundae Bunny 2009-11-19 . chapter 9This story is really intense and weird. I like it:) I hope to read more of it soon:D |
Midori Heiwa 2009-11-16 . chapter 9this story is realy great i and i wish you would update, please, cuz this story is just so very awsome!! |
Feneris 2009-11-15 . chapter 9I'm not usually a big death note fan... but this story is great... I like the force of the characters interactions with each other... and Lights attempts at baiting L are always amusing. |
dragontwin99 2009-11-13 . chapter 9I've really enjoyed every chapter so far and I can't wait to see what happens next :) |
rhymneyfaries 2009-11-03 . chapter 9Just to say that this is fantastic and amazing and I'm going to have a terribly diffcult time believing that this isn't canon. :) |
Aloony 2009-10-17 . chapter 9Very interesting story, completely believable and, of course, well-written. You write all the characters so perfectly! Kira as a 12 year-old detective is so enthralling and L as an obsessed stalker is hilarious. The two of them sending messages is something they really would do and, as I've said before, the way you write Ryuk truly brings out his full potential.
Anyway, hope you update this, it would be such a waste for it to never be continued. I'm having a hard time getting into any other author's fanfiction after reading yours, your stories are probably the absolute best Death Note fanfiction out there. u.u |
kiasyn 2009-10-17 . chapter 9I can't believe I haven't reviewed this story until now. I really LOVE this story. Light, L, Ryuuk and Sachiko's emotions, thoughts and character are done extremely well. I was really impressed. Also, all the characters are actually in character, and aren't acting OCC.
Also, the story plot is really funny as well as interesting and different! I was captivated by this story from the start!
Please Update~ |
Jman 2009-10-15 . chapter 9 Love the fic, it is one of the sort that you read and then lose and rediscover the joy of reading it when you find it again. But I really want to see another update, it is a shame that (though I haven't looked at them yet) the side-story fic of this was updated way more recently then this gem. Still, good job. |
 Shebali 2009-10-02 . chapter 9Oh, I so wish there was more! |
 Shebali 2009-10-02 . chapter 3Last paragraph -
Oh, wicked, wicked Light! XD |
OrangeR0se 2009-09-26 . chapter 1Good idea, but indirectly Light saved many, many lives. |
Kaiko Aozora 2009-09-22 . chapter 4I have that habit, only it's from me wanting to be disassociated with the total bastards that humans can be. How often I do it depends on how misanthropic I'm feeling at the time. I also sometimes say "male human", "female human", and "immature human", the first two more than the last.
Human mating rituals are incredibly bizarre things, which is why I choose to avoid them if at all possible. Also because I do not at all judge people on their appearance, and almost everyone I know of the appropriate gender (and even of my own gender) doesn't has a personality worth bothering with. Thus, I am behaviorally androgynous until I meet someone who I actually like.
Yay. Sibling fluff is win.
Ooh, Shinto. I like Shinto, it's a good religion. It makes sense. So does Buddhism. I'm nominally Christian, leaning towards agnostic, but Buddhism makes /sense/. It's not complicated. It's just being a good person, not "you /have/ to be a good person because Christ died for your sins" or "you /have/ to be a good person or else you'll go to hell", just "you /should/ be a good person because it's the right thing to do." Or at least, that's what I got out of it. But Shinto makes sense too, even though it's complicated and I don't know all that much about it.
Ignore my ramblings.
Ops. Accidental Sayu. Coincidence, curse... Coincicurse? xD Sorry, inside joke. But still, probably. |
