AH! I want more! More More More! This makes me nostalgic for real episode Dasey love. I know inspiration is probably lacking due to the craptasticness that was the end of season 4, but this episode by episode breakdown of the totally true Daseyness makes it seem not so bad.

I liked saly a little bit up until she started dating derek she was so nagging once she started going out with him and she kind of deserved all of the mind games that derek played with her. so I agree with you take on sally

Wow! I loved this so much! It is so great to see something from Derek's perspective, and why he does what he does, and what he's thinking. This is so god!

So I totally love each episode-story but this one had to be my favorite.
I went on youtube and read and watched and then read again cause it made it even better
lol I have seen this episode before and I surprisingly didn't catch all the Dasey-ness!
Like Casey actually did look awkward when Derek and Sally kissed, she was like scratching
her head and looking around! I'm preying that there will be Dasey before LWD ends!!

I like how you've dealt with Derek's behavior in that episode. (Though I've enjoyed all I've read so far, particularly the sympathetic yet still in character narrative voice of Derek).

One of the things that frustrates me with the show is the push and pull it does with Derek and Casey's relationship. Obviously, tptb are never going to put them together romantically; the censors would never let it happen. But, sometimes they convey the animosity too strongly -- to the point where it isn't believable. We know these characters care about each other, and it's ok to show that (It's interesting that with Derek TPTB try so hard to convince us he dislikes his stepsister; and trying that hard is part of what makes us refuse to believe it).

That was a lot of babble. Sorry. I just like that you took an episode that was pretty negative at points and explored the thought process of Derek's mind in a way that explains his behavior realistically. :)

I am quickly running out of words to tell you how much I love your writing..sigh..

Your writing is simply amazing. I read all the chapters this afternoon and I loved all of them. And it is really nice to see it Derek's Pov. There are times when I am laughing at his desperation and sometimes feeling terribly bad about him getting hurt and all.

I hope you update soon because reading the last chapter was torturous. I am feeling really terrible for Derek now.
