| Anastashia 2008-07-11 ch 33, | abuseThis has been an interesting story to read. One thing though, regarding your use of the term "I have the ball". This is a landing aid that looks like a traffic light. It's used by pilots to verify they are on the correct glide path to safely reach the deck by visually "placing" the ball in the right position on the vertical display. It's got nothing to do with taking off. I suppose you could make a case for it being a verification that the raptor was in the correct position for takeoff in your story. That would be a purely fictional use of the term though and wouldn't reflect it's real use in carrier aviation. |

I was under the impression that her wounds were pretty serious, especially since she had to dig out the bullets herself. Anyway, good chapter. The Cottle/Laura part was funny and stubbornly in character. Nice job :D. |
