This is wonderful! Love the alternative endings. Babe of course is the best, but surprisingly also really liked the others also. I think Ram was my favorite of the MM. You put such thought into all aspects of this story. I really enjoyed the Wiccian parts of the story. Great job, can't wait to read the rest of your pieces.

I just read this story from start to finish this evening. I had such a terrific time. I loved the characters, the plot and the fun enhancements. (The book, the music and even the guns.) I love to look up the "extras" that writers add to their stories. All those things just add richness and realness to a story. The three endings were each written with such care that each one of them was a viable and well supported choice. Thank you for the care and work you put into your writing and for sharing. That was great...glad that Ranger was the 'original' ending, but I did like the other two options. I'm a BABE all the way, but if it's not BABE, then a MerryMan will be just fine!

I. Am. So. IMPRESSED! Where to start? I loved that you had three endings that actually made sense in their own right. Although Ranger was the more obvious choice, when you read ending A or B and then rethink the events of the story with Binkie or Ram in mind, their ending then makes sense.

I am dying to know if you knew all along that there would be three outcomes and when you chose which three men. I found myself really dissapointed when Woody left the picture, which shocked me because I never guessed I wouldn't want it to be a Babe HEA. For a while i thought the doc might be a contender in this story. And then when I read the first line of ending A, I actually shouted outloud "WHAT!" but had a big dumb grin on my face. Again, I was so excited it was Binkie and so shocked that I wasn't dissapointed that it wasn't Ranger. All three endings are so perfect because there was something about each of the men that was left hanging and I wanted to see something come to fruition with each story line. I hate to even say it, but I'm still a little torn as to my fav leading man for this one, but have definite Ranger leanings since he's been the "only one for Steph" in my mind for so long (except I've been re-reading the early Plums and am remembering how much I used to like morelli in the beginning. Until Ranger really came to life that is. I digress...)

You've had so many great one-liners in here so far! To be honest, I almost stopped reading a few chapters ago because i didn't think I could get into the whole palm-reading thing, but I'm so glad that I continued because I'm really liking this story after all! And who would have thought, I like Woody too! :)

I had a problem replying to the message you sent so I'll post it on here, hope its ok:

-I think you could make it more unpredictable (bc I was wondering sometimes especially when you introduced the other characters) if you went through and just deleted a couple references ranger makes but i understand that may be too troublesome especially if you are focused on something else right now.

-It would take much work to make it unplum but i think you could pull it off. The whole email correspondence/rich benefactor and palmist is good even though i hate supernatural, etc. (though i used to be a big fan but that is what too much college does to you-i'm starting my PhD). You'd just have to do a little more explaining in the begining and change some stuff (like give Ranger [or whatever his name would be] different details, like he has twins or something)

-I might check out your other work tho I admit Plum books and fanfic is the only fiction i read now

-I don't know about your career aspirations but I like you are a potential writer, I have friends who've published and I think you can do it

High quality. I found myself skipping over other parts toward the end to get to steph and ranger. honestly this is publishable work. here's my ideas:

-too obvious that Ranger is Cafe Ole though love that whole story line, strongly recommended making it more difficult to tell (like he out of the blue asks her if she has a laptop before Cafe gives her one)

-Should divide the book into separate stories, in fact, if you changed names and some information i think you could get it published. I'd divide ranger, steph, and palimistry (some parts) into one and then Woody, wicca into another (this way if readers like both they can read both books, if not they can read the one they like)

Great story! Plot and character development are excellent. Being a Babe, the original ending (C)is the one I prefer (and I loved it!), but the alternate endings are a really good idea. The email idea worked very well and was very believable to me. A truly enjoyable read!

You were right, I did love this story! The palm readings and wiccan rituals gave this story a whole new depth that you don't get in most stories. i knew all along that he had to be Ranger, and i'm glad that he was the original ending.
