Poor, poor Saruman. Even though he was a villain, it's never satisfying for a fic to end in death. Oh well. There I go, getting pensive and philisophic. ;) You did a great job writing a book-verse account of Saruman's Revenge. ;) I'm glad it's finished. You do write villains so horribly well, you know. ;)

you write well, but you underestimated the voice of saruman. in the book, his voice was supposed to seem wise and reasonable even though his words might not be. therefore, the hobbits shouldn't have protested against saruman's voice so easily.

Saruman is such an interesting and tragic character. You've done a great job writing Saruman and delving into his mind.

"The big tree was hard to bring to earth, for it roots went deep."
That reminded me of that line from FOTR "The trees are strong, it's roots run deep."

I hated that this part of the book wasn't filmed.

"My victory was almost complete."
I don't think he'll have victory, since I feel the final chapter will be his demise. Or will his fate be changed? Hmm..

AHH! What will happen next?
I suppose I will just have to wait.
