I love the idea of everyone ganging up on Vaan (and Vaan having a crush on Fran - that's priceless). The only thing I don't like about this story is that it's pointed out one of the mistakes I must have made in the game. I remember speaking to that Viera, and she disappeared eventually, but . . . I never found her XD

Oh gosh this is amazing! You should have posted this up sooner! I adore how incharacter everyone is, and the snide remarks between Ashe and Balthier is wonderful - just what I envisioned they would be like.

It was all so well-written and fluid! I have to make some tips from this. It was also great how you encorporated the Viera Soul Mate 'quest'. Very clever
And of course... the ending -swoons-
Oh the final line is just a great ending for the pair. So darn perfect - and how they played it safe in the bar like nothing was on between them.

D'aww... Penny and Balthier are just the worst at teasing poor ol' matchmaker Vaan... But Basch and Ashe aren't making it any easier for him! XD

I love Ashe and Balthier's little spat at each other in the beginning; course, that's nothing compared to the BalFran ending bit, which was both excellent in romance and, throughout the fic, an amazing faithfulness to their use of words! :)
