Good story! Infatuation sucks, doesn't it?

Interesting perspective on things, and it's a pretty reasonable explanation of why things are how they are with Trent and Monique. The narrative style is a little too hard-edged and matter-of-fact for Trent, but it could have happened this way. And I like the ending for some reason, I think Monique and Jesse would be perfect together.

If you're a REALLY big Trent fan this could be the fic for you. If not, chances are you'll be left wondering if this thing had a plot or not.

Oh, this is really, really good. It gets into the head of Trent, the heart of Trent and that space between where the slacker lives. What I liked about the monologue was that it explained the relationship, while preserving the mystery of it. I like how you acknowledge the Trent/Daria thing, and dismiss it as well. This is very, very, very good. Too good I think for the 15 year-old Sailor Moon Fans who skulk around . Ah well. Bunny)
