MeShelly 2008-08-22 . chapter 1Oh, what an intriguing possibility! I also love the idea of YED somehow manipulating giant robotic aliens, and said aliens having no idea that such supernatural beings even exist. (I thought the driver of the semi was possessed by a different demon, though? He didn't have black eyes.)
"...the man steered the massive vehicle with the ease that only experience could have brought." I really love how this started; how confident and sure (and slimy) YED is. He clearly wasn't expecting Optimus to be there, but he definitely knows how to take advantage of it. And up until Optimus talks, I keep thinking, "No way, he couldn't have, it's *Optimus*--Optimus is probably just keeping his cover--OMG, NO!" It's awesome, how you build it up using the 'silence' and YED's own smug attitude.
"...suffering shared is suffering multiplied..." An excellent phrasing of his sadism. And aside from bringing to mind how chaotic the Autobots' communication lines probably are, it's such a well-timed revelation of the extent of YED's control over Optimus that it's just chilling.
"Oh, you're about to meet them very shortly." I loved this ending: glib and foreboding. What I like most about it is that YED mentions Sam and Bumblebee, letting all the Autobots know that he's coming for them. Also, he's about to show Optimus first-hand what a visit from him usually entails.
I would love to read more if you've got something in mind. If not, this was a lovely piece and I thank you for sharing it.

silvane 2008-06-22 . chapter 1Ok, that is seriously creepy. Demons can control transformers, or YED can. Poor Optimus. Poor Winchesters. If you choose to continue this, neither side is going to be happy with the other. I like it! |
