Wow! Brilliant analysis of both the Doctor and the Master.

I've seen fics where the Doctor thinks about how the Master has changed, how he's no longer Koschei, but I've never seen anything where the Master follows a similar trail of thought about the Doctor. This is a brilliant idea because it just seems so true. When you think about it it's so clear that the Doctor has changed because I don't think he ever had such a dark side to him in the original series and someone who has lost everything in the way he lost everything would be different for it.

It works really well that it's the Master's point of view as well - rather than one of the companions - because no one has know the Doctor as long or as well as him. I don't think I've ever seen him portrayed as being frightened of the Doctor before, and it’s totally believable. This is a wonderful story, really well written and really powerful.

When even the Master is frightened...oh, yes, the Doctor certainly has changed-perhaps not for the better, but he is at least a little more stronger...

That was both creepy and sad at the same time. Thank you so much for writing it. It's nice to see someone write about the frightening side of the Doctor so well.

I always wondered what the Master thought of the title the Daleks gave the Doctor... The oncoming storm, indeed, damaged, but stronger. Beautifully written, thank you!

I love character studies on The Doctor. And this one I feel was pretty accurate.
Thats the great thing about Doctor Who; nothing is ever simple. It's almost funny to say it, but Dr. Who is honestly one of the most realistic fictional characters there are.
