This is absolutely amazing. It's in character, has a realistic OC, and gives amazing insight into Toad's persona. The interactions make sense and you explain things about his chracter and actions that fit so well with the movie it's unbelievable.
I really can't wait to see what comes next.

I feel like such a jerk because I never got around to reviewing this one. I like the narrative bits and the whole kind of competitiveness Evelyn feels toward Tabitha. I think this is the first story (or rather second, after Heroes and Villains) to show the possibility of just a friendly relationship Toad could have with a human without jumping straight towards a sexual interaction. I think many fan girls would feel like Evelyn, "just human," (sadly), if they met Toad in real life, which definitely gives it a more realistic kind of feel to it.

I think this is a great chapter. For being so brief, it digs really deep into the reality of things: the loneliness of both main characters, and our narrator's grappling with the unfairness of the fact that her only friend is getting increasingly caught up in a vapid whore (ahem, excuse me, I actually like Tabby's character a lot--which means it's a testament to your characterization that I can't stand her in this fic).
Anyway--well done. :)
