This was absolutely amazing! Reading both of the fights were so exciting, but scary at the same time...
I was happy, that you wrote Kyuubi the way he is. Merciless, blood thristy, ruthless... All the things that describe him. You didn't turn this into something smushy and all that.
The part in which the Avatar forgived Kyuubi was also great. It showed Kyuubis character too.
I'm just so amazed by this chapter! Probably the best fight scenes ever written...

Wow. That was epic. Just... epic. Brilliant characterization all-around (with the possible exceptions of Death's cronies, who largely could have had more justice done to them, but I understand not having room in the chapter). Excellent action. Great mood, excellent horrific and dramatic tension. Great description, you've really improved in that regard. Grammar/spelling errors are seldom, and when present, are not glaring standout problems. Doesn't leave much storyline room for the chaos round, but that's alright. Brilliant.

And Alius (unless he's in a different time zone than me) is late. Not that I'd count that as an instant disqualification, but... it's a black mark in the round where it really matters, so that can't be bad for you. At any rate, we'll know soon enough who's the tournament winner!

This was GREAT! AWESOME! UNBELIEVEABLE! I LOVED it! Really, this chapter was so exciting, I couldn't stop reading the fight scene. You described it so well, and I could see them fighting (which might be why my room is in ruins at the moment). Whenever Kyuubi got fatally injured, I almost cried out, because I just didn't want him to lose.
The part where Kyuubi was lieing in the pool and 'dying' was my favorite part. I loved it!

Apart from feeling bitter resentment -HaHa- I thought you did a fantastic job. You're right, Kyuubi really is your muse.

I dont't know about you, but I can't wait for the last round. I've been waiting patiently the entire tournament to fight your character, planning and writing all the way down the road. And No offense to the other contestants, but you were the only one who ever made me worry that I wasn't going to win. Up till our round I never thought for a moment I would lose. Call it good old fashioned Canadian arrogence or me just being an asshole. Whatever you like.

I'll be looking forward to the results after our round.

BAHAHAHA what a fight, truly a match for the ages, i feel bad for Kabuto, although since a roar of four-tail Naruto sent him flying, it was realistic. Still, poor Kabuto...

Awesome, awesome work. Everything was well-foreshadowed, there was great action with a solid mix of drama, humor and horror to accent it, your characterization is above and beyond (but both characters are from the same canon, so that's kind of expected). We're nearing the climax of the tournament, and it's thanks to chapters like this that I'm looking forward to it so much.

But isn't he supposed to be, you know, dead?
Ah well, poor Kabuto. He's much too innocent, compared to Orochimaru and Kyuubi. xD
