"Booger Les"

Bad form, Sean! I'd slug you if we were standing on that corner together!

"Ted, a fourth-grader, was Les’ one and only friend."

Good old Ted-named people! They are always awesome, I think.

SEAN! STOP IT! You're being a bigger douche than usual! AND THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING.

Oh snap! The Smartie flicking is TOTALLY something I used to do back in the day (meaning last week). What? Emotionally immature? Me? NEVER.

Oh snap the better-written sequel! Tony's packing SweetTarts (properly punctuated at that)!! They're bringing out the big guns now boy! AAWW! There's the Not-Entirely-**-Sean I was waiting for!

D'aw!! This was adorable, and so well written, and totally age-appropriate. Cyms, you never, ever fail to make me smile. This was wonderful.

Very nicely done! Your descriptions and imagery are wonderful. I think my favorite is "The bus smelled like sweet snow slush as the candy melted in the puddles underfoot, warmed by the bus heaters."

This fic kind of makes me wish I had taken the bus to school when I was younger because it would be hard to have a Smarties fight with only my brother and my mom in the car (and I wouldn't even think about doing so in the classroom of my school...well except in Miss Stahl's class, but I digress...)

Again, great work!

Delightful story. I snickered and laughed from beginning to end.

The transition of your characters to AU was seamless. Their original personalities remained clear and intact.

David and Jack’s underlying connection was a great plus to the story.

I don’t think I will ever look at Les Jacobs again without thinking “Booger Les.”

Aw, you wrote something new!

This? Is *exactly* what I remember the bus being like in grade school. Get the way back seats when you're in seventh and eigth grade, freeze your ** off waiting each morning (we were routinely picked up BEFORE 7 AM), keep the other kids off your younger siblings (no matter how dorky they are), know that the bus driver really hates you all. Oh man. Good times.
