Ah, very nice. ^_^ I like these kind of one-shots best. You really captured the kind of sad, angsty mood in that chapter that I really loved when I first read it, and added just enough to give it more feeling. I'm quite excited to see it in the anime soon myself.

One piece of advice though I'd like to point out. Please don't use parantheses. In any piece of writing, most of the time it's unnecessary. And this story flows excellently, if not better, without them. It just breaks the concentration of the reader, and makes it sound more unprofessional, for lack of a better word. Just a tip for future writings.

But overall, nice job. ^_^ I look forward to more works from you.

That was lovely. Himawari is one of my favorite characters, and you portrayed her excellently. Her...situation is heartbreaking, and she is such a strong, strong child - having the courage to push away the people she loves the most, to keep them safe. Hmm. But Watanuki makes this impossible for her, doesn't he? And I think you summed that up perfectly. :)
