You're right, Rue and angst go very well together. Damn that Drosselmeyer anyway, for being so tragedy-obsessed that it extends beyond the subverted end of his story.

This last chapter especially seems to cry out for a continuation, although it could stand as an open end.

Anyway, your depictions of her are spot-on! I can totally see her in these positions. I love her character--oh so very complex and sad. "Tragedy" was especially well done.
