I like it, a lot. Both the actual story, and how you've used centering, bolding and so to structure it. Something that really stood out was how you managed to give clear descriptions with a limited number of words. Very effective.

Maybe you already know this, but there's a Piper and Trickster comm on lj, named piper_trickster. I'm sure they'd enjoy the story too.
