Fan Fan Girl 2008-04-19 ch 1,	abuseI don't know... It didn't seem to me like Gibari was even all that sad that his father died... I mean, you put that "drill sergeant" line in there which showed that they weren't exactly close, but still... you'd think... BUT that's all the criticism I have because you handled the rest of it beautifully! :D Their personalities, relationship, and even practicing techniques were all captured so well! This was so original and refreshing -- thank you!
Wolf-Shadow's-Ghost 2008-04-15 ch 1,	abuseThat was really well done, the whole brotherly love feeling that Gibari was wrestling with was well written. Gibari doesn’t really seem the type to get depressed, but you wrote his reasoning and pain in a way that made complete sense. The metaphor with the sandbag was brilliant, and I find it completely believable that Gibari would make himself a human shield if just to keep his ‘Comrade’ close to him and safe from harm, and Khan’s way also made a lot of sense even while it helped Gibari to understand his actions. So, great story! It was nice to read something about the two of them that didn’t involve them as a pair, I really liked it. :)
