| Taivasalla 2008-05-01 ch 1, | abuseThis is good. I especially liked the paragraph "People died in war..." The way she seems to be telling it to herself, but also to the reader, and the deep bitterness you managed to put in there was great. Not to mention "Too bad you got sent back on a courier run." Subtle way to show the guilt of surviving. One thing I was unclear about :"She wasn't the first, and certainly would not be the last shinobi to have ever had a breakdown." Is she having a breakdown? To be able to shake it off so easily at the end makes that line, and its premise, a lot less powerful. It's a good read. I really enjoyed it. |
