Great story! I think you should leave the story as is. The trials of trying to survive one more day with the hopes of being found bringing them closer, sharing of themselves with their past, fears, lost loves and present hopes is good setting to leave the story as it without need of taking it further. You've done well in making it really and believable and granted I too at first was wanting to have more from this story but after reading it a second time feel it's better left as is.

Great story. I would love to see how the two weeks of togetherness and confessions change Daniel and Vala. The changing dynamic would be very exciting to read about. Lots of shippy possibilities. I would love to read how the other teammates notice the differences in their relationship. Please update this story!

I think you should leave this as it is. You could easily add a another chapter or further their relationship based upon Daniel and Vala's confessions to one another. But the point is that out of need for survival, they became closer and let down a lot of walls about their past. I think Daniel would have died anyway if Vala had sucumbed to her illness. He felt the need to finally protect her and her inner sadness of never finding her brother seemed to ache her soul. I'm happy at least they were found alive and that's the point. They're back with their family at last. This was very, very good. :D

Quite enjoyed this one. Cut off from everyone and everything, it's no wonder that Daniel and Vala have no choice but to actually talk about things that matter to them. And I have to say it's quite the bit of personal/emotional information they've revealed to each other.

Loved the commitment that Daniel gave right before the two lost conciousness before they're rescued.

All I have to say now is that you've definitely have got to do a follow up to this story!
