I love the way that you give such a wide berth for Bella and Jacob ... it just deeply satisfies the team Jacob in me, while allowing for the team Edward part to squeal.
I'm sorry that I was not aware of this story as you wrote it, I regret that I could not have been a part of your 'live' journey ... but I'm just captivated. The tone you strike is somber, aching, and beautiful. It's such an enjoyable read. I'm off to the next chapter!

Do you have idea how much I cried during this story? Every time Bella visited Jacob's grave, I lost it. Every time she had dream, I lost it.

This was a VERY good chapter. I was surprised when I found myself in tears again! I love the story, it's one of the best I've read.

I said it before, but wow. I have never been in this situation (and sincerely hope never to be in it, especially after reading this story!), but the way you've written this makes it very personal and easy to relate to.

This is such a heartwrenching, real story! It's had me in tears multiple times, and I can relate to Bella so well even though I've never been in her shoes before. So good characterization! It's so easy to sit in judgement of someone in Bella's position and say, "oh it's too soon to date" or "you need to mourn longer." I probably would have agreed once, until I had a close friend go through what Bella is going through. Lost her husband after 1 1/2 years of marriage, then started dating her best friend's brother after two months. They married a year later. So many were shocked, but she explained that while she'd always love Mike, she had room in her heart for someone else. She was young, she was ready to be married and to give her love to someone else who was able to reciprocate. She told me while she is still sad not to have her first husband in her life, she can't regret what happened, because she never would have found Nick and had their son. Life has a way of working out.

Anyway, can't wait to read more! (And I see you are in Iowa...so am I, in DM!)

I absolutely loved it, made me cry to the point I'm pretty sure my family thought I was crazy lol.

i just wanted to let you know that i read this story in one sitting it was so good and i thank you for the love that bella has with jacob and then with edward..it was so good to read and cry about jacob again thank you now for part 2 i know it will be as good as this one
