Luna the sheikah 2008-06-04 ch 1,	abuseAw, that was sweet. Both were in character and I can see the last scene happening :D Gosh, I got Brawl at the midnight release. I played until about 7am. Seeing one of my childhood memories be tortured. I almost cried, well got a little teary eyed. It was late, I was tired and crashing from a can of Amp'd. Still a powerful cut scene even without those strange hindrances. Poor wittle Pikachu

Pikachu power is described in an interesting way, and Samus's fighting is also awesomely envisioned. The way they looked after each other, and took care of each other, and the tenative bond between them; freakin' awesome. Cute and fluffy too. Thanks for posting, non-talky Pikachu is lots less annoying than talky ones are. Keep writing. Liz

XD And I agree with you on Nintendo not being "kiddie" anymore. Hello? Skin-tight, blue latex on a feminine body AND a tortue scene? Puh-leaze.

hopeless wreck 2008-04-17 ch 1,	abusei felt the same way about the whole Pikachu torture thing...definitely not "kiddie" Anyways Bravo for another great scene, this was one of the more touching and yet disturbing pieces in the game and you pulled it off very well.
Alex Warlorn 2008-04-17 ch 1,	abuseThis makes you wonder more at Pikachu surprise and derailment when the Minister didn't even try to fight back or attack when the heroes showed. And realistically, Pikachu WOULD be weak after being used as a battery. This works in flawless with the game. This could be another cut scene! - 35 Characters. Toon Link, Wolf, and Jigglypuff were basically easter eggs not given any story premise (which IMHO sucked). Ganondorf. Bowser. And Wario were part of the subspace army and didn't really interact with each other. King Dedede and his army of waddldee was assumed to be part of the subspace army but in reality was preparing for the battle he knew the heroes couldn't win by collecting the statues of Ness and Luigi. (and accidently Kirby as well). Who ever thought Luigi would be the one not just to save Mario, but the entire smashers, along with Ness and King Dedede (Kirby sure was surprised to find out whose side King Dedede was REALLY on from the start)! There's the possibility of interaction while they were searching for their team mates in subspace. The three swordsmen. Team Mario. Samus and Pikachu. 19 to go in theory. Let's review. Sonic only showed up just in time for the final confrontation against Tabuu (heh, he just HAD to make an entrance), so there wouldn't be a change for him to interact with the others. 18. Ice Climbers. They helped Meta-Knight climb to the top, then watched as Lucario and Metaknight fought it out. Then got knocked down among the knights team just before the HORDE or subspsace spawn came down on them and Mario's team jumped in to add their numbers to the knight's side. Captain Falcon. Captain Olimar. We don't know what the captains were doing on the floating island. Even if timid captain Olimar and 'manly man' Captain Falcon were a hoot as a pair. Lucario. He could have just been there hoping to hone his fighting prowess or placed there in the path of the heroes by the subspace army. Solid Snake. His interactions before the all out invasion of subspace would have been between Metaknight and Lucario. Mr. Game & Watch. He would have had his only chance to interact just before the Halberd joined up with the other two groups of heroes. Peach & Zelda. Depending who got kidnapped where depends on who they interacted with. Though the two of them did have a chance for some girl bounding when they chose to ignore Snake 'order' for them to stay put, and of course with Fox after Shiek's impulsive decision to take out Fox because some of his shots came close to Peach (kinda stupid if you ask me). Fox. Falco. Diddy Kong. Two space age hot shots being dragged along through the jungle by monkey boy. At least Fox has his blaster going through THIS jungle. Donkey Kong. His only changes for interaction was with Diddy before getting hit by the Dark Cannon and of course with the captains and Diddy Kong before the all out invasion of the Subspace Bomb factory. ROB. The most interesting character in the series. The Minister suddenly finds himself without a flock. And not to mention the fact that Donkey Kong had to DRAG him along. I think he wanted to get blown up with his fellowers. Forgive me for just going through a list like this. Just being systematic. At any rate. As long as we're going through characters who had a chance to bond and interact with each other: how about Pokemon Trainer (Red is logically his name, the game designers said in particular the character isn't Ash since Ash is from the anime, and only game born characters are allowed in Brawl, but it's logical that he's Red since his design is the same the trainer from FireRed.) and Lucus. Both have lost their friends (there's no way in hades Pokemon Trainer would have been carrying around two photos of two PARTICULAR pokemon only and happened to just run into those two!). And both have an empathy towards animals. Of course this add emotion to the fight with Charizard, since it means Trainer was in fact fighting his own pokemon rather than some random wild one. The fact both were in a ruined zoo suggests that both had lost something very important there even before Porky showed up. Did that zoo just holds animals, or pokemon too? I think it's funny how Trainer has 3 pokemon, and there are three other pokemon playable in the game, which with the exception of Lucario all appear out of a poke ball when they enter the brawls. And a trainer can hold six pokemon on their team. I'd almost say Pokemon Trainer fought MewTwo and lost nearly all of his team as a result. (MewTwo's xenophobic enough to join the subspace army just cause.) But that feels too much like adding stuff that there is no solid proof for. And Lucus finding his courage was one of the fun parts of the story. And I wonder if the swordsmen could understand that Trainer DOESN'T have his pokemon team fight instead of him out of cowardice but out of tactical common sense?
